Windows Media Player support

October 15th, 2004 by Cindy

We receive a lot of questions on Windows Media Player support. Good news, Erwin is working on it right now. This update and some other new features will be available when we release Doppler RC2.

Before doing so, Doppler RC2 will be tested by our beta-testers. We still can use some extra help on this. If you want to become a beta-tester, just drop a line to info@dopplerradio.net and we’ll send you an invitation. You will receive eternal fame within the Doppler support group and we guarantee you lots of unhandeld exception messages.

i downloaded windows media player 10 and when i used it my music file were converted to wma format and wouldnt play on the windows media player unless i dropped the music file in there . i could how access the media library and play it that way …but the problem i have is that my music down loads are now being turned straight in to wma format and mp3 format … why?

In answering Wynes question, I dont know the exact answer, but what I would do in that scenario is to remove Windows media player 10 and see if that has made a difference. If it has fixed the download problem then you know where the problem lies. Then you have two choices, 1) find an alternative to WMP 10 2) re-install it and look through all the options and settings to find the culprit.

    Good luck
