It’s almost there…
October 20th, 2004 by ErwinFirst of all: a big thank you to our beta testers!
Today we froze the addition of new features to Doppler and are focussing completely on fixing the last (minor
) bugs.
Things that have been added since RC1:
- When you add a feed, you can now decide to add it to iTunes, Windows Media Player or both!
- You can manage your feeds in Bloglines and have them updated automatically in Doppler
- We’ve added a history feature. Every enclosure which is downloaded is added to the feed history. If you delete a file from your harddisk in order to create space or just to clean up your feeds Doppler will not download it again as long as it is in your history. You can manage your history on a per feed basis from within Doppler
- You can select an option to minimize Doppler to the system tray when you click the close button at the top right of the window (the ‘X’).
- We gave Doppler a more XP look and feel.
These ofcourse only add to the features already available in RC1:
- You can schedule your downloads/new items check
- You can drag and drop an url to Doppler to subscribe to a new feed
- You can limit the number of enclosures you want to download per feed
- You can limit the size of the enclosures you want to download per feed
- You can filter the enclosures you want to download by text
