Doppler 1.0 is Gold! Get it at our downloads section. But… make sure you read the installation notes over there. It’s important. And this time we’re serious ;-)

What’s new in Doppler 1.0 compared to RC1:

• Drumroll please, the number one on the wishlist: support for Windows Media Player playlists
• Support for video feeds! (RC1 did download video streams but did not add them to playlists. 1.0 Gold does)
• You can subscribe to your bloglines subscriptions. Doppler will update your subscriptions list from your bloglines account
• History support. Doppler now keeps track of what you downloaded and stores this in a history.xml file in your downloads folder. You can manage the history from within Doppler by right clicking on the feedsubscription.
• You can now export and import your feedsubscriptions as an OPML file.
• And in general: it looks, feels and works better

And we realize you really don’t want to wait for what’s upcoming in the next releases… so here’s a short teaser:

You will be able to subscribe to OPML files from other persons located on the web. Think of it as subscribing to for instance Adam Curry’s favorite feeds. You will be able to manage you downloaded files from within Doppler. You will be able to manage your feeds and diskspace even better.
